Andy Phillips is appointed CCO of SportingRisk.
Phillips will focus on accomplishing SportingRisk's expansion goals and growing the company's present tier-one clientele.
"I'm excited to join SportingRisk because the company has unique data and innovative products that are extremely relevant to the current market," Phillips said of the position. Over the course of eight years as a successful betting syndicate, the team battle-tested its prediction models after developing an internal database while working on the performance side of professional football.
"With those tools, we can assist operators in continuing to reap the benefits of their sports data, which is getting more and more costly and complicated to manage." I'm eager to meet and speak with more operators in 2023, as we now have tier-one clients in place.
The new CCO has worked at the intersection of sports analytics, technology, betting, and media for 15 years. He has held commercial roles at Genius Sports and Nasdaq Inc. and has advised industry investors, entrepreneurs, and business owners.
"Andy brings a wealth of sports data and betting technology experience to the business as we look to deliver on our sales strategy in 2023," said Henry Newman, CEO of SportingRisk. For operators hoping to provide genuinely captivating betting experiences, our ability to provide pricing and information from a single source is unparalleled and will revolutionise the industry.
SportingRisk, meanwhile, announced the release of PropFutures, a player prop and interval-based markets product, in September.
