FIFA and Betano collaborate on the Qatar World Cup.
The collaboration will be used "to engage and excite football fans around the world during the FIFA World Cup," according to the online betting operator, which is now active in ten countries, including Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Romania in Europe.
"FIFA and Betano share a shared ethos of using technology to enhance the fan experience, and we're excited to see what they have planned to engage fans around the region," Luis Rodriguez, FIFA's Head of Partnership Development, said of the agreement. This is an amazing announcement as we enter a new industry on the eve of the FIFA World Cup.
George Daskalakis, the CEO and co-founder of Kaizen Gaming, went on to say: "We are honoured to be the first sports betting company to collaborate with FIFA on the biggest football event in the world.
"This partnership will help us reach millions of football fans worldwide; we want to provide them with the best possible responsible sports betting experience to boost their interest in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022."
Following the signing of a new agreement by both parties, Betano recently announced that it will now host material from FBM Digital Systems (FBMDS) in Brazil.
Betano's Brazilian clients will have access to the supplier's catalogue, which includes more than 60 online casino games, including table games and slots.
