Marina Bay Sands and Scuderia Ferrari agree F1 partnership
Prior to the Singapore F1 race on September 17, Marina Bay Sands has inked a contract with the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One (F1) racing team.
Many people are not surprised by the transaction because the F1 season will arrive in the Southeast Asian nation in mid-September, and the casino resort that dominates Singapore's skyline is the pinnacle of luxury.
A replica of the 2019 Ferrari F1 racer SF90 will be on display at Hotel Tower 1's foyer from September 11–18 as part of the agreement.
"We are thrilled to announce our brand partnership with Scuderia Ferrari, the most successful F1 team in history," Marina Bay Sands COO Paul Town said of the agreement. This partnership brings together two recognisable companies that are focused on our shared quest for excellence.
"During the upcoming night race in Singapore, we look forward to providing exciting activations that fully immerse our visitors in the excitement of this incredible partnership."
Scuderia Ferrari's Head of Partnership Development, Paul Gandolfi, stated: "We are thrilled to have Marina Bay Sands join our network of partners.
"With the wildly popular Singapore night race as our first event, we look forward to creating meaningful and unforgettable experiences for our fans and customers, united in luxury, ambition, and the pursuit of quality and excellence."
In other headlines pertaining to Formula One gambling, the inaugural event will be held in Las Vegas on November 19.
But there has already been some controversy around the event, with F1 allegedly collecting payments and planning obstacles to prevent people who have not paid to attend—such as clubs and restaurants—from seeing it.
